St. Vincent de Paul Society

St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVDP)

This is an international Catholic organization of lay persons founded by Frederic Ozanam, under the patronage of St. Vincent de Paul. It seeks, in a spirit of justice and charity and by person-to-person involvement of its members, to help those who are in need of food, clothing, and financial assistance. Our volunteers are here at various hours during the week to assist with food, clothing, and financial assistance in emergency situations. Special activities include the Thanksgiving food drive, Christmas gifts for the children through the Advent Sharing Tree Drive, an Annual Baby Shower Drive that helps young unwed mothers choosing Life for their unborn child(ren), and a Summer school supply drive to assist and encourage enthusiasm for the new school year. The St. Brigid SVDP Conference meets on the first Monday of each month.
