Infant Baptism

It is in Baptism that one is welcomed into a community of faith.

At St. Brigid, we welcome new members as a parish community. Infant baptisms, therefore, take place during the celebration of Mass. Baptism services for infant baptism, birth to 6 years of age, are scheduled after the Sunday 12:30 pm Mass.

Parents and Godparents/sponsors are required to attend a preparation session for the Sacrament of Baptism, preferably before the child is born. Parents should live within St. Brigid Parish boundaries or have permission from their home parish to have their child baptized at our parish.
