Laudato Si’

Welcome to the Laudato Si’ Ministry

Inspired by Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’, we are embarking on a new journey to build a ministry dedicated to ecological stewardship and faith-driven action. As a ministry in its formative stages, we are laying the foundation for a community committed to caring for our common home through education, advocacy, and sustainable initiatives.

We invite all who share a passion for environmental justice and creation care to help shape this ministry, bringing ideas, energy, and faith into our shared mission. Together, we will grow, learn, and take meaningful steps toward a more just and sustainable world.
Mission Statement:  The Laudato Si’ Movement’s mission is to inspire and mobilize the Catholic community to care for the Earth and achieve climate and ecological justice.

Laudato Si': Goals & Resources for Care of Our Common Home

WEEKEND REFLECTION

May 16/17

Ecological spirituality calls us to recognize creation as a sacred gift entrusted to our care. As the Psalmist reminds us, “Let all creation praise the name of the Lord, for at His command all creation was created” (Psalm 148:5–6). Pope Francis echoes this truth in Laudato Si’, reminding us that the environment is “a collective good… and the responsibility of everyone” (p. 95).

The documentary Kiss the Ground, narrated by Woody Harrelson, beautifully reflects this vision, showing how regenerative agriculture can heal the earth and renew hope. It’s available on major streaming platforms, including Netflix and Amazon Prime. We invite you to watch it and consider how small, faithful choices can help restore our common home. Education empowers us, but action unites us. Together, we can help renew the face of the earth.

REFLEXIÓN DE FIN DE SEMANA

May 16/17
