On behalf of Father Gilberto and Archbishop Gustavo, we invite you to come together and be “Courageous in Christ” during this centennial year of the Archdiocese of San Antonio and support the 2026 Archbishop’s Appeal for Ministries. This annual campaign, which kicks off the weekend of February 28 – March 1, invites St. Brigid parishioners and all of the faithful in our archdiocese to support more than 30 ministries that advance the mission of the Catholic Church in our area.
Let’s come together to support parish life and faith formation. The Appeal funds programs and outreach in parishes and specialized communities such as college campuses, the criminal justice system, and hospitals.
Let’s come together to support faith-based education. The Appeal helps provide scholarships for a Catholic education, grants for Catholic schools, and other initiatives.
Let’s come together to provide selfless service to those in need through social service ministries that help the poor, the elderly, women with a crisis pregnancy, orphans, at-risk youth, refugees, and others who need a helping hand.
Let’s come together to support our shepherds, as the Appeal provides funding for the formation of seminarians and deacons, care for retired priests, and other efforts.
And let’s come together to help the Church evangelize through media such as Today’s Catholic newspaper and Catholic Television of San Antonio.
Will you join together with your brothers and sisters in Christ to support this important cause today? We need your help to reach our parish goal of $97,044, but the ultimate goal is to bless our brothers and sisters in Christ by helping fund programs that sustain life, faith, and family.
