
Infant Baptism
In the Sacrament of Baptism, we celebrate the welcoming of new members into the vibrant community of faith. At St. Brigid Parish, we are overjoyed to embrace your child as they begin their journey with Christ and our parish family.
Baptism services for infants, from birth to 6 years of age, are thoughtfully scheduled after the second Sunday 12:30 pm Mass.
Getting Started: Requirements
To ensure a smooth and meaningful preparation for this beautiful sacrament, please be aware of the following requirements:
- Original Birth Certificate: Please provide the original birth certificate of the child to be baptized.
- Godparent(s) Eligibility:
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must have received all Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation).
- Parental Residency: Parents should reside within St. Brigid Parish boundaries. If you live outside our parish boundaries, please obtain permission from your home parish to have your child baptized here.
The Baptism Process
To begin the journey towards your child’s Baptism, please follow these steps:
- Complete the Baptismal Registration Form below.
- Submit the Form: Email the completed form to Taylor Baca at TaylorBaca@stbrigidcc.org
- Attend Preparation Session: Both parents and godparent(s)/sponsors are required to attend a preparation session for the Sacrament of Baptism. This session provides valuable insights into the meaning and responsibilities of Baptism.
